Fair Didacta Italy takes place in the da Basso Fortress in Florence from 18 to 20 October from 9am to 6.30 pm.

The event encompasses a scientific programme of more than 150 events including workshops and conferences, organised in an innovative way and coordinated byINDIRE (the National Institute for Documentation, Innovation and Educational Research, is the Italian Ministry of Education’s oldest research organisation), and a Scientific Committee consisting of  Cnr, Istituto degli Innocenti, CRUI, Associazione Italiana Editori e Reggio Children.CNR, Innocenti Institute.

The scientific programme is organised into different educational stages to guide teachers through the educational offer, according to their interests and the educational level they teach. For the first time this year, there is a 0-6 section including a series of immersive workshops addressed to the little ones, and a section dedicated to Hospitality Training Schools, with lessons, cooking shows and laboratory activities.

Fair Didacta Italy was included by the Miur in the activities of the multiannual plan for teacher training.

The Immersive workshops

Enrolment is limited; therefore, reservation is necessary.

The workshops will take place in rooms equipped with modular environment, facilities and Wi-Fi connection. Participants can take active part using tools, technologies and materials available in the laboratory.

Hospitality sector workshops  

Enrolment is limited; therefore, reservation is necessary.

These workshops are training events dedicated to the enogastonomic, tourism and hotel management sectors and are addressed to teachers and operators in the sectors concerned.

DEBATE WORKSHOPS

The workshops take place in a conference room where two or more discussants are face-to-face and present their work in turns within an adversarial procedure. A moderator manages the time and flow of communication. By the end of the debate, participants are called to vote for one of the theses exposed.

Participation is not restricted to specific professional categorise and places are assigned on a first come first served basis. Nevertheless, advance registration upon tickets purchase is recommended so that rooms can be arranged to accommodate participants.

CONFERENCES (including hospitality sector)

The scheduled conferences deal with themes related to the world of education, training, enogastronomy, and tourism, and are addressed to large national networks.

EVENTS ORGANISED DIRECTLY BY COMPANIES AND INSTITUTIONS

In the programme there are also events organised directly by exhibitors, institutions and associations taking part in Didacta.

ACCESS TO DIDACTA

Visitors can buy admission tickets to the fair directly at the entrance of the da Basso Fortress during the days of the Fair, or by credit card through the online ticket office.

Teachers can buy tickets also using the teacher card for cultural activities.

The general admission ticket costs € 14, is valid for the three days of the fair and grants access to 4 immersive workshops or hospitality training sector workshops.

Workshops will be activated only with a minimum of 30 participants. Starting from the 10th October, we invite you to check whether the workshop you booked was confirmed.

CERTIFICATION OF THE ACTIVITIES CARRIED OUT AT DIDACTA

Participation in the scientific workshops (immersive workshops and hospitality sector workshops) will be Certified by Didacta Italy and are valid as in-service training for teachers, as provided for by current legislation.

Only the activities marked with “valid as in-service teacher training” will be certified.

Participation in IUL’s training pathways will be certified directly by the university through the ECTS credits system.
