IUL – Italian University Line is an online university owned by INDIRE and the University of Florence. The university is the technical partner of Didacta Italy and offers the opportunity to participate in the fair through a dedicated training pathway which grants 1 ECTS and is recognised as teacher in-service training.

The course is delivered in blended mode and is made up of online activities to be carried out on the IUL platform, and in-person activities taking place during the fair.

Online learning encompasses:

  • Two introduction webinars to Fair Didacta on 4th and 8th October (6pm). The two events will be available live on streaming on the IUL website (iuline.it);
  • Materials and documents to delve into the addressed issues

As far as in-person learning is concerned, during the fair, participants can choose between two types of activities:

  • a pathway made up of three workshops organised by IUL University.

It is possible to choose between two courses one taking place on the 19th and the other on the 20th October:

COURSE 1 – REORGANISING SPACE AND TIME

  • 9:30am – 11:30am Flipped classroom
  • 11:45am -1:45pm Flexible use of time

Lunch break and visit to the fair

  • 3:30pm – 5:30pm – When time teaches

COURSE 2 – REORGANISING TIME, SPACE AND CURRICULUM

Saturday 20th October

  • 9:30 – 11:30 – Flexible use of time

Besides online and in-person learning, the purchase of IUL’s training pathway includes:

  • Access to IUL’s reserved teacher meeting area, catering service offered by the university in collaboration with Florence’s Buonarroti hotel school;
  • The ticket to the tree-day fair giving the opportunity to participate in all the fair events

The cost of one IUL’s training pathway is 150.

At completion of online and in-person activities, the participant will be granted 1 ECTS to be used in the academic system and recognised as teacher in-service training.

The training pathways can be purchased using the Teacher Card for cultural activities and through the payment methods listed on the website.
