Didacta Fair 2021 Is Approaching
FROM EXTRAORDINARY EVENTS TO EXTRAORDINARY CHANGES
DIDACTA FAIR IS APPROACHING was the first streaming event of Didacta Italy Fair – a two-day event of projects and assessments on school transformation, and an opportunity to meet sector specialists online and discuss the future of school.
Over 4,000 teachers followed the event in streaming with over 30 speeches divided into four panels on 13th and 14th October.
The first day opened with a video message from Italian Education Minister Lucia Azzolina, hailing the event ‘Didacta Fair 2021 Is Approaching’ as a “great opportunity for teachers, school managers and administrative staff to meet – albeit remotely – other colleagues and experts from the education world”.
The first day saw a presentation of topics related to pre-school education in the age of digitisation (0-6 years) and online teaching, reflecting upon the need to benefit from the opportunities offered by the digital world in these last months to change the school system and the didactic organisation.
The second day opened with an in-depth analysis of School Structures and on how the pandemic and the opportunities offered by the Recovery Fund may represent an unrepeatable opportunity for a structural change.
The two days of ‘Didacta Fair 2021 Is Approaching’ ended with a discussion on the thorniest aspects of school autonomy which, after its launch, over twenty years ago, remains largely unfinished.
