DIDACTA ITALY 2020: A Covid-Free Path for All Participants

The fourth edition of DIDACTA ITALIA will be a special one, featuring an innovative formula compared to the previous ones, and taking place at the Fortezza da Basso in Florence, from Wednesday 28th to Friday 30th October 2020, in complete safety for all participants.

The Organising Committee and the Firenze Fiera Staff, along with a multidisciplinary team of experts, are committed to  guarantee a safe opening of the Fair, implementing all the precautionary organisational and operational measures to limit the spreading of Covid-19 included in the Safety and Regulatory Protocol drawn up by Firenze Fiera to reopen the congress and exhibition centre.

This will be a 100% safe and sanitised fair, taking place in accordance with hygienic and behavioural guidelines, with scheduled inputs and temperature scanners at the entrance, online only ticket offices, a desk to distribute face masks, safety lanes, social distancing signs and check, larger and reshaped booths and common areas in accordance with anti-COVID protocols.

skip-the-line app will guarantee limited accesses during the fair. Participants will access rooms and visit the Fair in accordance with the planned distancing measures.

An appropriate covid-Free path for all the Fair visitors is being studied – from their arrival to their departure – to be organized by Destination Florence Convention & Visitors Bureau for DIDACTA, as well as for other exhibitions and congresses scheduled from September on, at the suggestion of the main institutions, stakeholders and Firenze Fiera.

“We are working on a complete and detailed plan, in line with health regulations and with the official documents drawn up by the Italian Exhibition and Trade Fair Association (AEFI), UFI (Union Foires Internationales) and Federcongressi – says Paola Concia, coordinator of the Organising Committee – with the desire to give a reliable and particularly thorough response to all those who have already decided to participate in DIDACTA, and to those  who are considering their participation during these weeks, including teachers, school managers, general service and administrative directors, educators, trainers, professionals and representatives of the main companies in this sector”.
