Using the CEFR Companion Volume (CEFR CV) Mediation and Interaction descriptors to inform integrated skills task development_primary school

In this workshop, participants will distinguish between discrete and integrated skills tasks and, focussing on the recently published CEFR CV, they will decide whether the integrated tasks involve interaction or mediation. We will consider how the CEFR CV descriptors can help us to describe performance on integrated tasks and participants will design an integrated task, selecting appropriate descriptors from the CV that could be used to design a rating scale to assess performance on this task.
