The fourth edition of Didacta Italy Fair – the most important school fair – will take place in Florence from 17th to 19th March 2021.
For 50 years, Fiera Didacta has been organised in Germany, and is now being reinforced in Florence, turning the city into a European capital of the school of future.
Didacta Fair Italy aims at promoting a debate on the school world among institutions, associations, and entrepreneurs, to create a meeting point between schools and the companies in the sector.
This new format will develop on two levels – an exhibiting area, involving the long supply chain of companies working in the school and training world, and an activity dedicated to events: conventions and seminars ranging from technology to scientific and humanities areas, up to a special learning space.
The Fair is for all those operating in the education, instruction, and professional training sector. In particular, institutional representatives, teachers, school managers, educators, trainers, in addition to professionals and entrepreneurs operating in the school and technology sector.
Didacta is organised by Firenze Fiera, MIUR (the Italian Ministry of Education), Didacta International, the Region of Tuscany, the Florence Municipality, Unioncamere (the Italian Union of Chambers of Commerce), the Florence Chamber of Commerce, Florence Convention & Visitors Bureau, ITKAM (the Italian Chamber of Commerce for Germany), all forming the organizing committee, while INDIRE is their scientific partner.
The Fortezza da Basso – the only exhibition centre in Italy located inside a real Renaissance architecture masterpiece.
It is located in Florence downtown, only 3 minutes on foot from the main railway station – a perfect logistic position with the opportunity of accommodation and parking.
The infrastructures of the city and the Fair are constantly evolving, since a new tramway stop in front of the main entrance of the Fortezza da Basso was created since Spring 2018.
